Zach LaVine throws down disgusting behind-the-back dunk in Slam Dunk Contest (Video)
By Josh Hill
The Slam Dunk Contest was over in the first round, as Minnesota Timberwolves star Zach LaVine truly came of age with his first two dunks of the night.
After throwing down now of the illest jams we’ve ever seen in the Slam Dunk Contest, Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Zach LaVine destroyed his second dunk and is now officially in the Top 10 of all-time best dunkers at the contest.

That would have been a stretch of a statement after his first dunk, but Zach LaVine topped himself with his second dunk of the night and has officially won the Dunk contest in just two dunks.
Even if he doesn’t end up winning the contest, Zach LaVine is a superstar on the rise after his dunks in the first round, specifically his second dunk. After his Space Jam dunk, Zach LaVine went with the J.R. Smith behind-the-back dunk — expect he nailed it to absolute perfection.
That’s butter. That’s all the hot sauce in the world — with a side of onions.
Zach LaVine has gone from that kid who hardly looked thrilled to be drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves to the king of the slam jam on Saturday night. He may not be a superstar yet, but his ascent to the top has no doubt officially blasted off.
