The Ole Miss wide receiver is running again after suffering a gruesome injury against Auburn
Laquon Treadwood’s injury was one of the more heartbreaking sports moments in 2014 for multiple reasons. One, he was leading Ole Miss in receiving and was having a fantastic season. The other, was because it took away a touchdown he thought he had scored against Auburn and ultimately sent Ole Miss to a crushing loss that ended their dreams of competing in the first-ever College Football Playoffs.

On the play, Treadwood suffered a gruesome injury, which included a fractured fibula and a dislocated ankle.
Ole Miss would eventually go onto the Cotton Bowl where they would get steamrolled by TCU, who was upset after being bounced out of the final four for eventual champions, the Ohio State Buckeyes.
There is good news for Ole Miss and fans alike, Treadwood and his teammate Denzel Nkemdiche, who broke his ankle back in October, are running again.
Treadwood posted a video to his Instagram, to show him and his teammate sprinting full speed and training to get back out on the field.
After a heartbreaking injury, it’s good to see Treadwood along with Nkdemiche back out on the field. The two are key players for Ole Miss and getting them back healthy will certainly be huge heading into 2015.
For Treadwood, he has a chance to regain his 2014 form again and be the man leading the Ole Miss receivers every Saturday.
