NASCAR driver Kyle Busch was involved in a horrific crash Saturday in the Xfinity Series
After being involved in a terrible wreck on Saturday in NASCAR’s Xfinity Series race at Daytona, Kyle Busch, writhing in pain on the grass in the infield, was stretchered out of the track and taken to a nearby hospital. NASCAR has issued an update on Busch and his availability for the first race of the season on Sunday, the Daytona 500.

Busch’s No. 54 Saturday shot straight into an interior wall on the track. He couldn’t even get out of his car because of the pain in his leg, and after he was successfully removed, his face was filled with nothing but anguish as he was on the ground.
His leg was quickly wrapped up as he was stretchered out.
It appears that, unfortunately, Busch will not be taking part in Sunday’s Daytona 500.

The good news, however, is that Busch is awake and alert after the terrible crash. With a speedway like Daytona, the wrecks are at higher speeds than most tracks and the results could be even worse.
With the Daytona 500 being the most popular race in the sport, it’s a shame that Busch can’t be out their to race in it. Hopefully, he will be able to get back to racing soon and continue his dream of chasing a championship.
