Marcus Morris half-court buzzer beater (Video)
The Phoenix Suns’ forward drilled one from half-court as time expired at the end of the first.
All season long the Phoenix Suns have been at the wrong end of buzzer beaters. Wednesday night they finally had one fall on their side. While it wasn’t at the end of a game leading to a Suns victory, it was still impressive.

With time running out at the end of the first quarter, Suns forward Marcus Morris heaved it up from half-court and the shot hit nothing but net.
The shot was so good, the Denver Nuggets couldn’t do anything but stand their as watch.
Former Suns player and current announcer Eddie Johnson noted that players are afraid to throw it up from so far because it affects their stats.
Morris wasn’t afraid to throw the shot up from long distance and it paid off for the Kansas product.
It’s a nice change of pace for the Suns after devastating shots from Blake Griffin, Khris Middleton, James Harden and DeMarcus Cousins have dealt a serious blow to their playoff chances this season as they fight with the Thunder and Pelicans for the final spot in the loaded Western Conference.
Maybe luck is finally on their side.
