Temperatures are expected to be below zero for the low during the night between Friday and Saturday, and that’s not accounting for the wind chill.
Out of safety for the fans, camping has been banned and no fan can arrive sooner to stand in line for tickets than 5 a.m..
The fact that Brewers fans are willing to spend time out in subzero temperatures to wait for tickets that could be bought online shows how rabid their fan base is.
As for the players themselves, they don’t even have to worry as they are currently in beautiful Arizona for spring training where the temperatures are in the high 70’s.
So while fans might be eager to be the first ones in line early Saturday morning, they camp outside to do so. The Brewers were a respectable 82-80 in 2014, but was it good enough to get people to brave a winter storm Saturday?
