Fantasy Basketball: All Day FanDuel Lineups For March 8

There are seven games in the all day FanDuel tournaments. That leaves plenty of opportunity to build a winning lineup.

Here are my all day FanDuel lineups for March 8:

Point Guards:

Bargains:

Reggie Jackson, Pistons ($6,500): Jackson has averaged 32.1 fantasy points since his trade to Detroit. That is about a 5x value every time he has taken the court for his new team. He could have a tough time with Charlotte tonight, but I still see him getting between 25 and 30 fantasy points.

Rajon Rondo, Mavericks ($5,600): Rondo has been over 20 fantasy points in each of his last four games. He has averaged 27 fantasy points per game in that stretch, with his point total increasing in each game. His points and assists are increasing along with it. He may finally be finding his niche in Dallas. If he is, he is a great bargain so long as his price is this low.

Tony Parker, Spurs ($5,800): Parker has looked very good over the last two games, and now he gets to take on Aaron Brooks, who isn’t exactly known for defense. This is a good matchup for Parker, making him a good option if you need to go cheap.

Worth The Cost:

Russell Westbrook, Thunder ($12,500): Westbrook has averaged a ridiculous 72.9 fantasy points per game over his last four games. He has a nice matchup against Toronto, but can he keep this up? It now takes 56.5 points to get 4.5x value now. I’m not betting against him.

Mo Williams, Hornets ($7,400): Williams is another guy that got a new lease on life at the deadline. He has averaged 37.1 fantasy points per game since he took over the point in Charlotte. His matchup with Detroit is not a great one, but he should still be around 4x value.

Chris Paul, Clippers ($10,700): Paul has been over 50 fantasy points in each of his last three games, and has been over 40 in each of the last six. He is about as reliable as they come right now.

Risky Plays:

Kyle Lowry Raptors, ($7,200): Lowry shined in his return to the court on Friday, putting up 37.5 fantasy points against a good Charlotte team. The Thunder are good on the perimeter as well, but if he can do that to Charlotte, there is the potential that he could do it to Oklahoma City as well. It is not a sure thing though.

Elfrid Payton, Magic ($5,900): Payton has put up two really good games in a row, totaling 69.6 fantasy points in those games. So why don’t I trust him tonight? The Celtics have been one of the best defensive teams on the perimeter lately. Payton could have some problems tonight.

Aaron Brooks, Bulls ($4,500): Brooks has not been a reliable option at all since taking over for Derrick Rose. He has been all over the map, and I don’t trust him at all against the Spurs today.

My Lineups:

A: Jackson and Parker ($12,300)

B: Paul and Rondo ($16,300)

Next: Good Options At SG?

Shooting Guards:

Bargain:

Monta Ellis, Mavericks ($6,500): Ellis has been slumping lately, but I am taking him against the Lakers. This is the thing that could get him out of his slump. He won’t be the highest scoring SG of the night, but he could be close.

J.J. Redick, Clippers ($4,800): Redick has played more than 40 minutes in each of the last two games with Jamal Crawford out. He is also getting a greater number of shots. He is a great option against Golden State today, especially if he sees a large amount of minutes again. That seems like a mere formality with Crawford not playing again today.

Worth The Cost:

Victor Oladipo, Magic ($7,700): Oladipo has been outstanding lately. Oladipo has scored 103.9 fantasy points in his last two games against Phoenix and Sacramento. It will get a little tougher tonight against Boston, but the way that Oladipo is going, I would bet that he still has a very good game. He should be able to get his 4.5x value without much of a problem.

DeMar DeRozan, Raptors ($7,300): The slump is over! DeRozan has averaged 41.5 fantasy points over his last three games, one of those being against Charlotte. The Thunder have not defended the two very well for much of the season. DeRozan should see an adequate amount of open shots tonight, and the way that he has been shooting, another big game could be on the horizon.

Risky Plays:

Wayne Ellington, Lakers ($5,400): Ellington plays well against average or worse defenses. No matter how badly Monta Ellis has looked on offense lately, his defense has not suffered at all. Ellington is going to have a really hard time getting to 20 fantasy points.

Joe Johnson, Nets ($5,900): Johnson has only scored 39.5 fantasy points in his last three games combined. There is no way I would take this kind of gamble right now.

Klay Thompson, Warriors ($7,100): Thompson has not topped 25 fantasy points in his last three games, and it won’t get any easier with the Clippers on the docket today. I wouldn’t trust him with enough other suitable options available.

My Lineups:

A: Oladipo and Redick ($12,500)

B: DeRozan and Redick ($12,100)

Next: A Thin Crowd At SF Too

Small Forwards:

Bargains:

Jae Crowder, Celtics ($5,100): If Avery Bradley plays (he is listed as doubtful), it will hurt Crowder’s value. He has scored 58.1 fantasy points in the two games without Bradley. As long as he is getting 30+ minutes a game, he is worth playing in daily leagues.

Gerald Henderson, Hornets ($5,500): Henderson has scored over 20 fantasy points in six straight games, and has been over that mark in 12 of his last 13 games. Henderson does not have a lot of upside, but he is as consistent as they come. There is always room for that in my FanDuel lineup.

Worth The Cost:

Gordon Hayward, Jazz ($7,700): Hayward has been over 40 fantasy points in two of his last three games, but the one that he wasn’t, he scored just 18 fantasy points. Once again, Hayward is mostly a matchup based play. He is a solid play against Brooklyn tonight, but getting over 40 could be a bit too much to ask.

Kawhi Leonard, Spurs ($7,600): Leonard has been an absolute beast lately. He has averaged 40.2 fantasy points per game over his last five games. The Bulls have defended the three well most of the season, but I can’t go against Leonard right now. Especially with all of the injuries that the Bulls have.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Hornets ($5,900): MKG has been a consistent producer since the All Star break, going over 20 fantasy points in all of those games. He has had problems with consistency in his short career so far, but that has not been a problem lately. He carries a 27.2 fantasy points per game average since the break. He should be able to get close to that tonight against Detroit.

Risky Plays:

Tobias Harris, Magic ($6,400): Harris is slowly coming back to form, but he still can’t get above 30 fantasy points with any regularity. There is a strong likelihood that he can’t do it against the Celtics right now. Their defense has been very good lately.

Chandler Parsons, Mavericks ($6,200): Richard Jefferson’s value in daily leagues will be gone with Parsons back, but I have a feeling that Al-Farouq Aminu’s is as well. There is a good chance that Jefferson gets a nice run off the bench because of the way he played as the starter. Parsons was playing well before his injury, but I just wouldn’t trust him in his first game back. I want to see how the Mavs use all of their SF’s first.

My Lineups:

A: Leonard and Henderson ($14,100)

B: Henderson and Kidd-Gilchrist ($11,300)

Next: No Big Players At PF Either

Power Forwards:

Bargains:

Derrick Favors, Jazz ($7,500): Favors has averaged 33.6 fantasy points per game over his last ten games, and shows no signs of slowing down. He is still one of the most consistent options available. That makes him the best bargain of the night at PF, and maybe the only one.

Brandon Bass, Celtics ($5,300): Bass is only here because of his upside. He is not an elite option by any means, but he is one of the few low priced options that can hit 30 at any position. It all depends on if you’re willing to take the risk.

Nikola Mirotic, Bulls ($5,500): The Pacers contained Mirotic, but they didn’t shut him down completely. He is safe to roll with against the Spurs today since Taj Gibson is still out of the picture.

Worth The Cost:

Serge Ibaka, Thunder ($8,100): If you take out his disastrous outing against the 76ers, he is averaging 39.6 fantasy points per game since the All Star break. The Raptors are not very strong up front, meaning that Ibaka will have every opportunity to beat them up on the front line. Ibaka is a strong play tonight.

Greg Monroe, Pistons ($8,100): Monroe and Ibaka are the same price, which means that there is something for everyone. Ibaka is the consistent performer. Monroe is the guy that can go over 50 at any time. It likely won’t happen tonight against a strong Charlotte frontcourt. Ibaka is the better option of the two tonight.

Risky Plays:

Dirk Nowitzki, Mavericks ($6,000): Dirk is not the elite fantasy option that he once was, but he does have an elite matchup against the Lakers. Carlos Boozer and Ed Davis are pretty good defenders, which could knock Dirk off his game. I’m not going to take the chance. Nowitzki has been under 18 fantasy points in each of his last two games.

Pau Gasol, Bulls ($9,200): Gasol has not been over 38 fantasy points in his last five games, which puts him under 4.5x fantasy value. The emergence of Joakim Noah has taken Gasol’s value down far below what it should be for his price.

Ed Davis ($6,200) and Carlos Boozer ($5,300), Lakers: Neither of them are reliable because it seems as if a different one has the better night at random. It is worth spending money at PF tonight to avoid this mess.

My Lineups:

A: Ibaka and Mirotic ($13,600)

B: Favors and Mirotic ($13,000)

Next: Good Options At C

Center:

Bargains:

Rudy Gobert, Jazz ($7,500): Gobert has averaged 36.1 fantasy points per game since the Enes Kanter trade. That makes him a bargain even at this price. The Nets are pretty good up front, but I am still fairly certain that Gobert can still hit 30 tonight.

Jordan Hill, Lakers ($5,900): Hill has quietly put together a nice string of games since his return. He has put up over 20 fantasy points in every game since. He has averaged 24.6 fantasy points per game since then. He is not an elite option, but he is still a nice cheaper option tonight because of his consistency.

Worth The Cost:

Andre Drummond, Pistons ($8,600): Drummond has averaged 36.5 fantasy points per game over his last ten games, and has gone over 38 fantasy points in six of those. He has a tougher opponent against Charlotte tonight, but he scored 29.8 fantasy points against them back on February 10th. He is still a solid play tonight.

Al Jefferson, Hornets ($8,400): Jefferson has averaged 38.6 fantasy points over his last ten games, and is a strong option even against the Pistons. He put up 34 on them in their last meeting, which makes him a slightly more appealing option than Drummond.

Joakim Noah, Bulls ($7,200): Noah continues producing at a high level, and is still a great bargain. The Spurs don’t have anyone at center that can match his agility, passing ability, or rebounding ability. Basically, Noah is one best options of the day.

Risky Play:

Enes Kanter, Thunder ($5,700): Kanter has been under 20 fantasy points in each of his last two games. Toronto isn’t particularly strong up front, but I really don’t trust Kanter with Steven Adams back right now.

My Lineups:

A: Jefferson ($8,400)

B: Noah ($7,200)
