The biggest question mark for the Colts over the past few seasons has been their poor offensive line, and they are constantly trying to improve in that area.
The Indianapolis Colts and guard Todd Herremans have agreed on a one-year deal that is reported to be worth up to $3.5 million.

Indianapolis has been consistent in their pursuit of a good offensive line to protect their golden boy Andrew Luck, but they haven’t had much success. The offensive line’s poor production has been a combination of players not performing and injuries to the ones who were playing at a serviceable level.
While this might seem like a quiet signing that isn’t that big of a deal, the real fact of the matter is that Herremans could very well be the new starting right guard for the Colts.
Herremans was a consistent starter for the Philadelphia Eagles ever since he was drafted in the fourth round by them in 2005. He started the first eight games for them last season, but a biceps injury cut his season short.
This isn’t the first time in the past few years that the Colts have added a former Philadelphia player. Indianapolis general manager Ryan Grigson spent the last eight years of his career with the Eagles prior to taking over the Colts, and he was the director of player personnel whenever he left.
The Colts came into this offseason with the sixth-most cap space at over $38 million, and they have the most out of all the contending teams (top five in cap space: Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans and the New York Jets).
With all that money, the Colts are sure to make a lot of noise once free agency starts on Tuesday, and they have already been connected to big names such as Ndamukong Suh and DeMarco Murray.
