Soccer player snaps leg bone in half, everyone barfs up their breakfast (NSFW)

Soccer player Federico Mattiello gave new definition to breaking your leg on the pitch by actually breaking his leg on the pitch.

Who says soccer isn’t a brutal sport? There are detractors of the game across this country who believe that soccer is not really a sport and that it’s just for people who can’t hack it in “American sports”.

But Chievo Verona’s Federico Mattiello has given us all a look at what can happen on the pitch when sh-t goes down — and out.

What went down was a nasty tackle from Roma’s Radja Nainggolan and what went out was Mattiello’s leg bone. It all happened too fast to process but when you can literally hear another human being’s leg bone breaking in the middle of a stadium — you know it’s bad.

Be warned, the video is very NSFW — and definitely not something you should watch over breakfast.

Think about how sound travels, and how loud something has to be in order for you to hear it as clearly as this from so far away. Now consider that you heard a bone breaking in half from that distance and you being to realize the brutality of this injury.

This brings to mind other brutal injuries like the one most recently suffered by Jeremy Lane in the Super Bowl, where his arm was ‘significantly’ broken. Louisville’s Kevin Ware comes to mind as well, after his leg was so severely broken in a March Madness game two years ago that his leg bone pierced his skin and was sticking out.

Mattiello’s injury is up there with those, and it’s something that you won’t soon forget after seeing — and hearing.
