After being released by the Jets, Percy Harvin is visiting AFC East rival Buffalo

After acquiring a flashy player in LeSean McCoy from the Philadelphia Eagles last week, the Buffalo Bills are reshaping their offense to match their dynamic defense. The team also acquired Matt Cassel from the Minnesota Vikings to be the team’s quarterback in 2015.

Now it appears Buffalo is looking at another dynamic player to add to the offense.

The Buffalo Bills announced Wednesday that wide receiver Percy Harvin is visiting the team.

Harvin was released by the Jets this week after they acquired him from the Seattle Seahawks last season.

The Jets avoided Harvin’s $10.5 million price tag when they released him. While Harvin’s tenure with the Jets and Seahawks may have not ended the way he wanted it to, going to Buffalo could allow him to re-establish his value as one of the more dynamic offensive weapons in the NFL.

When on the field, Harvin has the ability to make game changing plays.

His ability to change speeds helped bring the Seattle Seahawks their first Super Bowl when they knocked off the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII.

The Bills do not have a first round pick this year as they traded it to the Cleveland Browns to move up and draft Sammy Watkins last year.

Adding Harvin alongside Watkins would provide new quarterback Cassel with some weapons to throw to. Adding McCoy behind them in the backfield adds another dynamic versatile weapon to the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills are coming off their first winning season since 2004. Things at one point didn’t look good for the Bills this off-season when head coach Doug Marrone stepped down and quarterback Kyle Orton retired. Things are starting to look up again with the moves they are making, and it appears they are trying to take the next step and return to the playoffs this season in the AFC.

Will Percy Harvin be the next move they make?
