The Baltimore Ravens have reportedly reached an agreement with running back Justin Forsett after his big season last year replacing Ray Rice.
Justin Forsett was one of the best running backs in 2014, and the Baltimore Ravens were hoping to get a new deal done with him this offseason.
That was exactly what the Ravens were able to do, as Adam Schefter from ESPN reports that Baltimore and Justin Forsett have agreed to a new three-year deal.

The Ravens desperately needed Forsett to come through like he did last season to help them move past the whole Rice situation. He stepped in perfectly and put up huge numbers to help lead Baltimore the playoffs and a playoff win over their division rival Pittsburgh Steelers. There were other teams interested in signing him, but the Ravens were able to get the deal done anyway.

At 29 years old, Forsett was an interesting free agent at the running back position. He hasn’t received a lot of wear and tear throughout his career, and still has a few good years of football left in him before he begins declining.
Needless to say, the Ravens are going to be a team to keep an eye on in 2015. They lost wide receiver Torrey Smith, but bringing Forsett back will help keep their offense balanced all-around. He is the type of running back that can put up big numbers whenever his team needs him to, and that is exactly what they will need next season.
Baltimore will be depending on him to have yet another big season, even more so than they did last year without Smith out wide. If he lives up to the hype is the question that will be endlessly asked in 2015, as the pressure is on like never before.
