With Saturday being March 14 and Pi day, Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs was able to list 48 straight digits of Pi and a reporter got pied in the face during the process.
March 14th is commonly referred to as Pi day because of the numerals 3.14. There are several trillion numbers in Pi and most people usually give up after the first five or six digits. Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs is not one of those people, and is able to rattle off an insane amount of numbers in the sequence.

Last year, Dobbs was able to list 28 consecutive digits of Pi.
This year, Dobbs attempted to go for 48 digits after he was bet by a reporter that he couldn’t list 45 digits in a row. If Dobbs could list the incredible amount of digits, then he would be allowed to pie the reporter in the face. If he failed however, he would end up taking some dessert to the noggin.
Not only was Dobbs able to pull off the incredible feat of listing 48 consecutive digits of Pi, the reporter ended up taking the pie to the face as part of the challenge.
The fact someone could study so many digits alone is impressive. While Dobbs let someone else do the honor of hitting the reporter with the pie, his impressive feat stands.
The only question left asking is, how many digits will Dobbs memorize next year?
