Helping lead the charge to the playoffs for Toronto is Kyle Lowry.
The Raptors and their fans got a scare Wednesday night as Lowry hurt himself going up for a shot.
Lowry crashed into Timberwolves forward Chase Budinger and landed hard on his back.
Lowry would leave the game with a back contusion. It’s unclear when he will return but hopefully it’s soon.
The playoffs are near and the Raptors can’t afford to lose their leading man.
Under Lowry, the Raptors have become a playoff team again after making it back last season. To take the next step in the playoffs, the Raptors are going to need Lowry to be healthy and on the court leading the team.
He’s a physical player that gives his all on every play of the game and is a tough point guard. Hopefully he can get back on the court soon.
