Bowe is going to be taking over the number one receiver role from Josh Gordon, who is suspended for the entire 2015 season after failing the league’s substance-abuse policy once again. He simply cannot seem to stay out of trouble, and there are major concerns about his future in the NFL. That being said, getting Bowe locked up is a big step in the right direction for the Browns.

Last season with the Chiefs was a bit rough for Bowe, although that seemed to be the case with every single wide receiver on the roster. He caught 60 passes for 754 yards, but didn’t catch a touchdown — finding the endzone was hard for every Chiefs wide receiver.
At 30 years old, this is a good point for Bowe to begin a new chapter in his career.
There is no question that Bowe still possesses the talent that made him one of the league’s best wide receivers just a few years back. He is a very tough defensive assignment for any opponent and will be a better receiver than any player the Browns have had for quite some time. Gordon was a great deep threat, but Bowe is a more well-rounded player.
Bowe could have a very solid season in Cleveland.
