C.J. Anderson gave his grandmother a brand new car. Here is the video.

The latest “feel good moment of the week” is brought to us courtesy of Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson. The two year NFL veteran out of University of California-Berkeley purchased a new car for his beloved grandmother, then surprised her with the gift as their family surrounded them.

Thus continues the recent trend of gift giving from young NFL players, whom appear to be grateful for their upbringings. It is comforting to know that underneath those helmets and padding, lie children of parents, just like you, me, or anyone else we know of.

Anderson, who went undrafted in 2013, broke out last season when he ran for 849 yards and eight touchdowns in 15 games. What makes those numbers even more impressive for the 24 year old California native is that he recorded them in just 179 attempts, averaging 4.7 yards per carry.

Posted below is the video of the celebration. Give it a watch, especially if you want a pick-me-up for the second half of your day.

In addition, here is another reminder of the importance of family and how, sometimes, sports are not the most important thing on this Earth. In 2014, Ma’ake Kemoeatu retired from the league to give his brother, Chris (a former NFL player himself), his kidney. The full story is detailed here.
