The Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team enjoys playing Super Smash Bros while traveling on the road.

In between games, players understandably need a way to get away from all this “March Madness.” Leave it to Kentucky junior forward Alex Poythress to provide that luxury to his teammates. Although an ACL tear cost him the rest of his season in December, he still contributes to his team’s well being by providing the entertainment on road trips with his Nintendo 64 and a little bit of Super Smash Bros.

The Wildcats may very well have the best basketball team in the nation this season. Currently 36-0, a sweet sixteen showdown with fifth seeded West Virginia looms on Thursday.

The team, one which plays host to a starting five with the potential to all be selected inside the top 20 picks of the 2015 NBA Draft, is the favorite in the match up, as they should be.

There is a ton of pressure to win it all this year. It would complete first perfect season for any team since Bobby Knight’s 1976 Indiana squad. They have the fans, and coach Jon Calipari on their backs; the entire state of Kentucky, and the Wildcat fan base has been watching all season, and anything less than an NCAA championship is inexcusable.

Go ahead and take a look at the following video. If those are not textbook examples of relaxation and team building exercises, we do not know what is.

The best part is that you know this is not personal. Not once in the video did the team play on the “Final Destination” board, where arguments are settled and friendships occasionally end.

The Wildcats look like a pretty cohesive unit; even if one of their own likes to stack the odds in their favor. Seriously, E.J. Star Fox? Come on. That is cold.
