Six races are officially in the books after Sunday’s STP 500 at Martinsville. Denny Hamlin picked up his first victory of the season and earned himself a spot in the chase along with a chance to compete for the Sprint Cup Championship.

After six weeks, Kevin Harvick and Joey Logano continue to dominate on the track. They have each finished in the Top-10 every race and are No. 1 and No. 2 in the Sprint Cup Standings respectively.
Brad Keselowski continues to work his way up the standings after another strong performance Sunday. Coming off a big win last week at the Auto Club 400 in California, Keselowski almost pulled off another victory at the STP 500 Sunday.
However, Denny Hamlin had just enough to hold off Keselowski at the finish line.
Hamlin, Sunday’s winner, sits in the fourth spot after his win and Jimmie Johnson, whose day didn’t go as smooth because of wrecks, rounds out the top five overall.
Another driver that has had an exceptional start to the season that isn’t as getting as much coverage is Martin Truex Jr. Truex Jr. has finished in the Top-1o all six races and continues to look stronger each week. He hasn’t picked up a victory yet, but if he keeps driving the way he is, he will be in the winners circle soon.
With Sunday’s race in the books, here is the official Sprint Cup Standings after six races.

Now that Sunday’s race is complete, NASCAR has next week off and the Sprint Cup will return in two weeks at Texas Motor Speedway for the Duck Commander 500.
With a week off, will Harvick and Logano be able to continue their momentum at Texas, or will a new driver rise to the top of the standings?
