Miles Bridges, a top recruit in the class of 2016, helps justify his ranking.
Miles Bridges, a 5-star recruit in the class of 2016, took advantage of playing on the biggest possible high school stage.
With an ESPN broadcast and numerous college coaches in attendance, Bridges got some serious hangtime on a viscous dunk in a Dick’s Sporting Goods High School Nationals semifinal game.
Put Bridges down for having “plus athleticism” on your scouting report.

The 6-7, 225 pound small forward is ranked seventh in the ESPN 60 for 2016. Bridges is undeclared early in the recruiting process, but already has offers from nine major college programs, including Louisville, Connecticut and Indiana.
Bridges has been praised for his versatility and may even consider moving to guard, making him a good fit for just about any program, particularly those who like to play at a high tempo. Expect Michigan State to extend an offer at some point as well, as Bridges originally hails from Flint.
Huntington St. Joesph Prep (W.Va) fell to powerhouse Oak Hill Academy (Va) 61-51 in the semifinals despite Bridges’ best efforts. Bridges scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the loss.
If Bridges ends up going to Louisville, perhaps he can follow in Montrezl Harrell’s footsteps as the best dunker in the nation.
