Hansel Emmanuel playing high school basketball at the level he does with one arm is already amazing, but he’s also out here winning dunk contests.

If you’re not familiar with Hansel Emmanuel, you should — particularly if you want to be blown away.

Emmanuel has a Division I offer from Tennessee State to play college basketball already to his credit and is one of the stars of Life Christian Academy in Florida. He’s also pretty routinely popping up on social media with incredible highlights. Oh yeah, Emmanuel is also doing this despite having one arm.

But if those achievements weren’t enough already, the prodigious high school hooper took part in the City of Palms Classic — one of the best high school basketball tournaments in the country — dunk contest. And he didn’t just compete, Emmanuel wowed and won the thing.

Once again, Hansel Emmanuel is here to break the internet.

One-armed phenom Hansel Emmanuel wins elite high school dunk contest

Emmanuel, who was raised in the Dominican Republic, lost his arm in a freak accident when he was just six years old. That obviously hasn’t kept him from becoming a phenomenal talent on the hardwood, though.

Though he has just one offer to his credit from, as mentioned, Tennessee State, there should be more coming. Even though he has limitations, any perusing of what he’s done as a 15 and 16-year-old player will show you that they are far from substantial.

He’s not just a tall guy who can jump, either. Emmanuel has proven he can handle, shoot and facilitate at a truly impressive level. And we have a feeling that his star is only going to continue to grow from here.
