As they look to get themselves into the College Football Playoff this season, the TCU Horned Frogs will be sporting a different look

Last season, although they did not complete the ultimate quest of reaching the first ever College Football Playoff, being bounced from the top four when the final standings were released, the TCU Horned Frogs put the entire college football world on notice that they had arrived. Well as we’ve seen in recent years, it’s almost a given that when your program reaches a certain level of prominence, a uniform change is in order.

Well, that is exactly what is happening with TCU.

On Friday, some fresh new uniform combinations were released by Nike, and they really were aiming to take the Frog mascot to a whole new level when it comes to the threads the team will be wearing on the field.

You can view the new uniforms below.

Now sayings and phrases on the necklines are nothing new, really, and will probably become a lot more commonplace in the years to come. TCU is just the latest school to take it on their jerseys.

Whether or not the Horned Frogs, especially with Heisman hopeful quarterback Trevone Boykin returning under center, can get their trip to the College Football Playoff this season remains to be seen. However, one thing is for sure, and that’s the fact that they’re gonna look pretty fresh while they’re trying to tear through the Big 12 Conference.
