Adrian Peterson unsure if he’ll show up to Vikings workouts
By Mike Dyce
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is unsure whether he’ll show up to the team’s workouts.
The stalemate between the Minnesota Vikings and running back Adrian Peterson is ongoing and there is no end in sight. Peterson wants to be traded, the Vikings want to keep him allegedly.

This has been just an interesting but relatively irrelevant NFL offseason storyline, but with off season workouts coming things will come to a head soon. Will Adrian Peterson show up to offseason workouts?
“We’ll see,” Peterson said when asked by ESPN. “I haven’t even been reinstated yet.”
That reinstatement issue is a bit of a hurdle that needs to be crossed before any of this can even really be discussed.
What Peterson does can really show where things are going between the two sides. If Peterson shows up it would seem like odds are greater that he could be returning that Peterson is open to saying.
If he really wants to force his way out of town, why not hold out?
Well, he could need the money after some rather expensive legal bills and missing some time last season. He could also be open to staying just so the Vikings don’t trade him away to an NFL wasteland like the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are reportedly interested in him because they’d take anyone.
Who wouldn’t rather be with the Vikings in tense conditions rather than NFL purgatory?
Jacksonville had 1,612 yards as a team last year, so they’d want Peterson, but he has been carrying one franchise for long enough.
The only reason Peterson should move is if he gets a trade to a desirable team, like the Dallas Cowboys. I mean do you really want to bet on the Blake Bortles and the Jaguars turning it around and making it worth your while?
If he does show up… I have a feeling this is why.
