Daily Fantasy Basketball: FanDuel Lineups For April 21
By Dave Fuqua
Welcome to the world of trying to figure out daily fantasy basketball during the NBA Playoffs. For me the ticket here is going to be trying to get as many studs in my lineup as possible. So with all the craziness of the NBA Playoffs at hand let me give you my FanDuel lineups for April 21.

Running at the PG spots for us we will be using Kyrie Irving and Isaiah Thomas. Thomas has been pretty incredible since joining the Celtics and had a field day last time out against the Cavs with 21 points and 10 assists plus some peripheral stats to boot. Irving also put in work scoring 30 points to go along with two assists and three rebounds.
For the SG positions we are going to roll with James Harden and Avery Bradley. Harden is Harden and he is a stud and big time MVP candidate so I probably do not need to sell him to you, but Bradley in the other hand is a guy that we have to use to be able to afford the studs in our lineup. Bradley is seeing about 31 minutes a game and although he was not stellar in the last game against the Cavs is the kind of player who can explode and drop 20 points at any time.
In our SF slots we are going with LeBron James and Corey Brewer. Once again if you need a reason to use LeBron in this daily FanDuel lineup you probably should not be entering into this contest. Of course you could win without LBJ but I would rather take my chances with him. Corey Brewer only saw 24 minutes in game 1, but is a player that can rack up stats even in limited minutes. In those 24 minutes Brewer was able to rack up 15 points and a few other stats. He is a worthy add here as in order to make the numbers work and have LBJ along with Harden you have to take some risks on guys like Brewer.
At PF we will have to roll with Amar’e Stoudemire and Patrick Patterson. Neither guy are what you would call studs and neither guy is a lock for 30 minutes tonight. They are more casualties of going with the big guns of Harden, James and Irving. We are really banking on those guys to do their things and for our smaller, cheaper players to put in their usual work. Stoudemire was good for 10 points, five rebounds and one assist in only 16 minutes and looked like a much more lively version of himself than he has all season. Patterson logged 32 minutes and recorded 10 points, five rebounds and two assists.
The man in the middle for us tonight at C will be Timofey Mozgov. Mozgov has meshed quite nicely with LeBron James this season and has hooked up with him frequently for some nice alley oops. Mozgov only had six points, eight rebounds and three blocks in 24 minutes last game. I would expect him to improve upon that number tonight and again we use a guy with some potential to have a big night and are cheap options to afford our studs. Good luck to you and I hope we win some money tonight!
