The 2015 NFL draft is in full flow and fans across the nation are taking to twitter to voice their opinion on the Vikings decision in the first round
This years draft has been everything it was built up to be, it’s been exciting but there have been very few surprises. (Who didn’t see Jameis Winston going to the Buccaneers?)
The NFL Draft captures the imagination of the nation every single year, and for very good reason. People are enamored by the night that can change the fortune of a lot of NFL teams. It gives their fans hope that things can change, next year will be better.
Along with getting their fans hopes up, NFL teams make dreams come true for kids who have been working for this moment their entire lives. It’s not though luck that they got here but through hard work.
The only surprise of the night is Todd Gurly getting picked at number 10 considering he only recently blew out his knee. Trae Waynes going to Minnesota is not a surprise, I doubt many people batted an eye when it was announced. He’s a solid player though and here’s how people reacted across twitter:
As one of the best DB coaches in the NFL, I'll take Zimmers opinion over anyone.

Welcome to the team Trae Waynes!
@thedesertpope I didn't have an opinion on anybody until now, in which I hope Trae Waynes has the longest sports career ever.

I'm fine with the Trae Waynes pick. Makes a lot of sense. #Vikings

Trae Waynes never did much for me when I watched MichSt. Way too high for him. #MINNpick

Crazy to think Kenosha Bradford had two first round picks on their team in @TWaynes_15 and @Melvingordon25 😳

Not all that happy to see Trae Waynes in the division.
