Ben Dogra, the agent for Adrian Peterson, is reportedly under investigation by the NFLPA.

Apparently, it’s not just Adrian Peterson that’s having issues with the National Football League – it’s his agent too.

Ben Dogra, Peterson’s agent, is reportedly under investigation by the NFL Players Association for a number of potential violations. Dogra met with the NFLPA to discuss the issue on Monday.

So far, there is not a lot of information on what, exactly, these charges are. If, however, these violations are of a serious nature, Dogra could potentially face a suspension by the NFLPA.

After failing to orchestrate a trade for his client, Dogra is attempting to get Peterson back on the Minnesota Vikings, with a raise to boot. Dogra is essentially pressuring the Vikings to prove their commitment by offering the running back a contract that will make him a Viking for life – and pay him more. Thus far, Vikings GM Rick Spielman has seemed less than interested.

Honestly, is it any wonder the Vikings would prefer not to deal with this guy? Even if Spielman is dying to get Peterson back to the Twin Cities, negotiating with Dogra appears to be pretty miserable.

This investigations appears to be more bad news for Dogra, who was publicly dropped by J.J. Watt last month. Dogra was also fired by Trent Williams of the Washington Redskins and Jeremy Maclin, now with the Kansas City Chiefs, in the last few months.

In addition to the aforementioned firings, Dogra apparently got into it with an executive from the Vikings front office at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Not a good look for a guy who would benefit greatly from his client, who already has baggage to deal with, signing with a team for the most money possible.

Dogra seems to be a real piece of work, it’s no wonder his clients are dropping him left and right.
