Royals fan tells kid to return the foul ball she gave him

A Royals fan went back on her good deed by telling a kid to return the foul ball that she had given him moments earlier

A female Royals fan managed to catch a foul ball hit from the Yankees, something we all hope to do once in our lives. She seemed to be the nicest person in the stadium when she celebrated by throwing the ball up in the air, only to be caught by a young fan.

Moments later when the celebrations had died down and she thought the attention was gone away from her, she told the child to return the ball.

Imagine you’re a kid, and you get a big day out at the ball game to watch your team take on the Yankees. Of course it’s going to cross your mind that you’d like to catch a ball, that’s why you bring the glove to the stadium after all.

Now imagine you see a foul ball hit towards your seats, only to be caught by the lady in front of you. Your heart is crushed, your dreams are destroyed. But wait, the lady throws you the ball? Everything in the world seems magical again, your faith in humanity is restored.

Now imagine that lady turns around to you a few minutes later and says “Give me my ball back”.
