Report: Ohio State QB Braxton Miller cleared for full activity

Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller has reportedly been cleared to return to full football activity
The much-talked about Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback race for 2015 is slowly taking shape here in the summer months, and on Friday, another piece of the puzzle has been added as Braxton Miller will be returning to the field.
According to Bucknuts, the Ohio State affiliate on the 247 Network, Miller has been fully cleared to return to football activity as he continues to come back from a shoulder injury he suffered prior to last season getting underway. With the return of Miller to the practice field, he joins Cardale Jones in the signal caller race in Columbus. All that’s left now is for J.T. Barrett to get back out there and we have the three-man race that we’re all looking forward to.
Miller was set to be the starter last year, however he suffered a non-contact injury to his throwing shoulder during August camp that required surgery, which ultimately led to him missing the entire season. From there, Barrett took the reins of the offense and led the Buckeyes to a 11-1 regular season record, before his season came to and end in the regular season finale against Michigan with a broken leg. Finally, Jones took Ohio State to new heights from there, leading them to a blowout win over Wisconsin in the Big Ten title game, followed by victories over Alabama and Oregon in the College Football Playoff that earned them the national championship, giving us the controversy we have today.
Again, now things get a little more interesting from here. With Miller back in action now, he can begin competing with Jones for the starting job, a job that some out there still believes is his to use, despite what happened back in January with Cardale at the helm.
In three years as the starter at Ohio State, Miller has been one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks of this generation, throwing for 5,292 yards and 52 touchdowns while also rushing for 3,054 yards and 32 more scores.
Ohio State will open up the 2015 season on Sept. 7 on the road against Virginia Tech, the only team to hand them a loss last season.
