Co-Stars, friends and fans of legendary actor Christopher Lee, well-known for his many villainous roles, react to the actor’s passing at the age of 93.
The news broke on Thursday that the realm of motion pictures and television had lost one of its most dearly beloved legends, as Sir Christopher Lee passed away at the age of 93 after being hospitalized in London for respiratory issues and heart failure.

The name Christopher Lee has become a household name over the last six plus decades. The legendary actor played all manner of roles over the course of his illustrious career, with the most memorable being whenever he took on the role of a truly evil villain.
Lee truly elevated to stardom when he was cast as the bloodsucking vampire Dracula in Horror of Dracula back in 1958. It was a character he would reprise nine more times, from the 1966 film Dracula: Prince of Darkness to Dracula and Son in 1976.
Christopher Lee would also add to his resume of incredible villain roles when he was cast as the evil Scaramanga The Man with the Golden Gun opposite Roger Moore.
Lee also made his mark on two of the most recognizable film franchises in the world. Christopher Lee was cast as Saruman in The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, a role he would reprise in all three Lord of the Rings films as well as The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.
The other legendary series was when Lee was cast as the dreaded Count Dooku in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, and later in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. He would also lend his voice to the animated Star Wars film Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Christopher Lee may be gone from this world, but the characters he’s played and the many emotions he stirred in us all will continue to live on in our hearts. As long as someone is remembered, they are never truly gone. Rest in peace Christopher Lee, you will never be forgotten.
