Last season the Florida State Seminoles won their third consecutive conference title when they escaped a close one with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. While the ‘Noles were bounced early from the College Football Playoff, they once again established their dominance in the conference.
However, with the losses they incurred, which includes the loss of Heisman-winning quarterback Jameis Winston, many believe that their run will be coming to an end this season. Of course, the one team they’re looking at to dethrone the champs is the Clemson Tigers, who return dynamic sophomore quarterback DeShaun Watson.
Or, will it end up being a dark horse team that’s able to rise to the top in the ACC when all is said and done this year.
Here’s a look at the preseason betting odds for the ACC via Sportsbook:
ACC:
Florida State | 5-2 |
Clemson | 3-1 |
Georgia Tech | 4-1 |
Louisville | 8-1 |
Virginia Tech | 8-1 |
Miami | 10-1 |
Duke | 12-1 |
N.C. State | 12-1 |
Pittsburgh | 15-1 |
North Carolina | 18-1 |
Boston College | 30-1 |
Virginia | 30-1 |
Syracuse | 75-1 |
Wake Forest | 100-1 |
Georgia Tech is returning a versatile quarterback of their own in Justin Thomas. While Clemson will get most of the hype, few would be really surprised if Georgia Tech were to come away with the title that narrowly eluded them last season.
