There are only four games tomorrow afternoon (Mariners at Yankees, Rays at Blue Jays, Royals at White Sox, and Dodgers at Nationals), which leaves us much fewer choices than we are used to in FanDuel. Luckily,Ā mostĀ have plenty ofĀ exposure toĀ theirĀ opponents. We can still get an educated guess from past performances.

NOTE: these picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.
Here are my early FanDuel Picks for July 19:
Next: Let's Start With The Battery
Jul 14, 2015; Cincinnati, OH, USA; American League catcher Salvador Perez (13) of the Kansas City Royals at bat during the second inning of the 2015 MLB All Star Game at Great American Ball Park. Mandatory Credit: Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports
Catcher:
Best Bet:
Salvador Perez, Royals ($2,400): Perez is an absolute steal at this price considering his career numbers against Jose Quintana. Perez is 13 for 36 (.361) with two walks, three doubles, a triple, two home runs, and seven RBI off of the White Sox lefty. This makes him a great option in DraftKings as well!
Honorable Mention:
Tyler Flowers, White Sox ($2,400): Flowers is only for those of you that want a change of pace. He is the same price as Perez, but his numbers off of Guthrie are nowhere near as good. He is 5 for 15 (.333) with two doubles and a walk, but he has no counting stats.

Fantasy CPR
Pitchers:
Best Bet:
Clayton Kershaw, Dodgers ($12,800): Kershaw is not quite as dominant as he was last year, but he has done pretty well against the Nationals in his career. They are hitting just .212 off of Kershaw in 146 career at bats with three homers and six RBI. The caveat is that the two players that have hit him the hardest, Ryan Zimmerman and Jayson Werth, are both on the disabled list. If you take their stats out of the equation, the rest of the Nationals squad is hitting just .144 with one homer and three RBI. That makes Kershaw the clear favorite tomorrow afternoon.
Honorable Mention:
Jeremy Guthrie, Royals ($5,800): For those of you that really want to save money, Guthrie could be a huge bargain. First off, the Royals are hitting a cool .286 with six homers and a whopping 35 RBI off of Quintana. The Sox are only hitting .243 with three homers and 19 RBI in 226 at bats off of Guthrie. He will likely give up a couple of runs and he doesnāt strike out a lot of batters, but he should get double digit points at a very low price.
Stay Away:
Erasmo Ramirez, Rays ($6,700): Not only are the Blue Jays the most feared offensive team in the league, they have hit Ramirez hard in his career. The Jays are hitting .306 with four homers and 15 RBI off of him in just 62 at bats. Stay far away from Ramirez today.
Next: Next: The Corner Infielders
Jul 2, 2015; Toronto, Ontario, CAN; Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson (20) hits a ball during the ninth inning in a game against the Boston Red Sox at Rogers Centre. The Boston Red Sox won 12-6. Mandatory Credit: Nick Turchiaro-USA TODAY Sports
First Base:
Best Bet:
Adrian Gonzalez, Dodgers ($3,500): AGon is 4 for 10 off of Doug Fister with a walk and an RBI. Yes, he is the best option at first base this afternoon.
Honorable Mention:
Eric Hosmer, Royals ($2,600): Hosmer has had issues getting on base against Quintana, but when he does, he doesnāt mess around. Hosmer is only 8 for 38 (.211), but he has two homers and eight RBI off of Quintana. He might be worth the risk, and is the best option of the day in DraftKings at first base.

Blog Red Machine
Third Base:
Best Bet:
Josh Donaldson, Blue Jays ($4,700): Donaldson is 6 for 17 with a walk, a homer, and six RBI already off of Erasmo Ramirez. Look for him to add to that tomorrow afternoon.
Honorable Mention:
Evan Longoria, Rays ($2,900): Longoria is only 10 for 37 (.270) off of R.A. Dickey, but he does have five walks, four doubles, two homers, and eight RBI off of the knuckleballer in his career. He is worth a shot, especially in DraftKings.
Mike Moustakas, Royals ($2,300): Moose has been sitting against some lefties lately. That said, he has hit Jose Quintana well. Moose has 10 hits in 32 tries (.313) with two walks, two doubles, two homers, and three RBI off of him. If Moose plays, he is a great cheap option!
Next: Now To The Middle Infield!
Jul 12, 2015; Kansas City, MO, USA; Kansas City Royals shortstop Alcides Escobar (2) reaches first on a fielding error by Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Jose Reyes (not pictured) in the sixth inning at Kauffman Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports
Second Base:
Best Bet:
Devon Travis, Blue Jays ($3,200): Small sample size, yes, but you canāt ignore Travisās early success off of Erasmo. Travis is 3 for 4 with two doubles and a RBI off of him. In a light slate, that make him a really good option.
Honorable Mention:
Howie Kendrick, Dodgers ($3,000): Kendrick is only 6 for 23 (.261) off of Fister, but he does have two doubles, a homer, and four RBI. That makes him worth a shot if you use your four Blue Jays elsewhere.

Away Back Gone
Shortstop:
Best Bet:
Alcides Escobar, Royals ($2,500): Alcides is 10 for 37 (.270) with two walks, two doubles, five RBI, and a couple of steals against Quintana. With Asdrubal Cabrera on the DL, Alcides advances to the head of the class.
Honorable Mention:
Jimmy Rollins, Dodgers ($2,600): Rollins is 3 for 10 off of Fister with a walk, a double, a homer, and three RBI in his career. There is a good chance that he adds to those totals.
Next: Who Are The Best OF Options?
Jul 17, 2015; Chicago, IL, USA; Chicago White Sox left fielder Melky Cabrera (53) hits a double during the sixth inning of game two of a baseball doubleheader against the Kansas City Royals at U.S Cellular Field. Mandatory Credit: Caylor Arnold-USA TODAY Sports
Outfield:
Best Bets:
Jose Bautista, Blue Jays ($4,800): Bautista has only faced Erasmo three times, but he has a walk and a two run homer off of him. If you have the money, I might trust Bautista more than anyone else to get me a long ball.
Lorenzo Cain, Royals ($4,000): Iām using the last of my Royals allowance on Cain, who is 13 for 37 (.351) with a walk, five doubles, and three RBI off of Quintana.
Melky Cabrera, White Sox ($2,900): Melky is 14 for 41 (.341) off of Jeremy Guthrie in his career. He has five doubles, a triple, a homer, and eight RBI to boast as well. He is the best option under 3,000 in the outfield.
Honorable Mention:
Adam Eaton, White Sox ($3,000): Eaton is 5 for 13 with two walks and a RBI off of Guthrie. He wreaks havoc on the basepaths though, which help make up for the lack of counting stats.
