Arizona State QB Mike Bercovici makes girlfriend run routes (Video)

In preparation for the 2015 college football season, Arizona State quarterback Mike Bercovivi had his girlfriend do some work

The Arizona State Sun Devils are expected to have another good season in 2015 under the direction of head coach Todd Graham, and a lot of that has to do with quarterback Mike Bercovici. As we saw last season, Bercovici has the ability to be one of the more proficient passers in the entire country, and he could break out this upcoming season.

But as we know, for good things to happen you have to put in the work on the practice field and Bercovici is doing just that as the season rolls around. Sometimes, though, it can be hard to find a practice partner willing to put in the work.

So, with that being the case, Bercovici turned to his girlfriend to run routes for him — Arizona State dancer Jaylee Merrill.

Hey, you have to throw the ball to someone, right?

Of course, he can’t really wing the ball the way he will when he’s taking on the rest of the Pac-12 this upcoming season, but it’s still something pretty fun to look at.

And kudos to Ms. Merrill for basically earning herself a Girlfriend of the Year award for doing this. How many dancers would have just laughed at their boyfriends when asked to hit the field?
