Kahlil McKenzie was one of the top recruits in the country and he already looks ready to be one of the best in the country

The Tennessee Volunteers, since the arrival of Butch Jones a few years ago, have been cleaning up on the recruiting trail. That didn’t change this year, as they signed the best defensive tackle in the entire country, Kahlil McKenzie. McKenzie was one of the most prized recruits in this entire class, and already in practice, it looks like he’s ready ot dominate.

Tennessee has started their preparations for the upcoming season, and we can see pretty clearly that McKenzie is ready to just flat-out terrorize opposing SEC offensive lines.

Watch here as he takes sophomore guard Austin Sanders and basically obliterates him.

It didn’t even look like he put in an effort there. McKenzie looked like a seasoned veteran right there.

Of course, the Tennessee coaching staff is pretty pumped about what they have on their hands here.

Yeah, they have every reason to be jumping around like little kids. If McKenzie plays anywhere close in the games to what he did here, then that Tennessee defense is going to be mighty dangerous.

Butch Jones is building this team brick-by-brick, and he has a literal brick here in Kahlil McKenzie.
