The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys are set to play Week 2 in an NFC East clash. You will not want to miss it. Earlier this offseason, a group of Eagles fans decided to get together and fund a banner that read “WE’VE GOT DEMARCO,” a reference to Philadelphia signing DeMarco Murray away from Dallas.

While the banner never flew, Cowboys fans decided to start a GoFundMe campaign that defensive end Greg Hardy contributed $300 to. Hardy is playing his first year with the Cowboys and is serving a four-game suspension to begin the year in connection with an alleged assault on former girlfriend Nicole Holder.
The banner that Hardy contributed to read “WE STILL DEM BOYZ!!!! #SACKSCOMIN,” and flew over the Eagles practice on Sunday, per ESPN. Many Philadelphia players were not amused.
"“A waste of money,” Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson said of Hardy’s gesture. “I think he’s a hothead and gets carried away with himself. He’s going to have his hands full with 71, I promise you that.”"
The numeric reference was to Eagles left tackle Jason Peters, a Pro Bowler and perhaps the top player at his position.
"“Oh, yeah, that was interesting,” Eagles outside linebacker Connor Barwin said. “I had heard rumors about that. Obviously, it doesn’t really mean anything at all. But we’ll be ready when we play them Week 2.”"
When the two teams meet the first time, Hardy will be on the sidelines. However, he should be active on Nov. 8 when the squads get together at AT&T Stadium for Sunday Night Football.
