Notre Dame Football reality show set to premiere on Showtime this September

There were rumors that a reality show surrounding Notre Dame Football might be premiering, and those rumors are indeed true

Early Tuesday morning we were brought the news that Notre Dame Football might be the subject of a “Hard Knocks” type reality series this upcoming season. At the time, they were just rumors. However, now we have confirmation that this amazing show will be taking place.

“A Season with Notre Dame Football” is indeed going to happen and it will be premiering on September 8 on Showtime.


This is just incredible news. Everyone loves the “Hard Knocks” show that airs on HBO every season, chronicling the journey of a specific NFL team towards the beginning of the regular season. For a while now, most of us had been hoping that we could get a college football version. Our wishes have been granted.

Quite frankly, as well, there really wasn’t a better program they could have chosen for this. First and foremost, head coach Brian Kelly is one of the more colorful personalities in the game of football in general, especially when it comes to his temper. Actually getting to watch how he handles the team as they go through the season will be interesting.

Then, we’ll get a look at how some of these young men handle being prominent figures for the most storied program in the history of college football. For example: How does Malik Zaire handles the rigors of the season and being the quarterback for the Fighting Irish?

There’s a lot of pieces here that will make this must-watch TV, and this is further proof that the college football season cannot get here fast enough in 2015.
