Cleveland Browns rookie Danny Shelton tried to prank one of his former Washington teammates but to no avail
Cleveland Browns rookie defensive tackle Danny Shelton has all of the looks as a player that can inspire terror in opposing offenses. If all goes well, it won’t be long before offensive linemen and quarterbacks alike are frightened just seeing Shelton across the line. Shelton being able to scare his own former teammates might take a bit longer, though.
Trying to keep things loose, Shelton attempted to scare his old college teammate and Buffalo Bills rookie Andrew Hudson by jumping out from behind some heavy machinery. It was not very effective:
In Shelton’s defense, it’s relatively hard for a man that’s 6’2”, 339-pounds to hide behind anything, even large equipment. However, it doesn’t look like Hudson saw him at all and he still didn’t flinch a bit. If Hudson himself weren’t a pretty sizable dude, I’m almost positive a pouncing Shelton would’ve induced at least a slight scream.
Perhaps Shelton will use his free time not spent torturing opposing defenses learning how to properly scare his friends. I’m not exactly sure where you go to train for that kind of task, but this video is clear evidence that Shelton needs all of the help he can get.
