Johnny Manziel was looking pretty good again this week, this time showing off the passing skills with a score
The story of Johnny Manziel in his second season with the Cleveland Browns is one story that everyone is watching intently this season. Last week in the Browns’ first preseason outing, Manziel looked pretty impressive, even running one in for a score from 16 yards out.
On Thursday night as the Browns take on the Buffalo Bills, Manziel was once again showing us all signs of improvement, this time with his arm.
After Josh McCown led the Cleveland offense for the entire first half, the reins were handed over to the Heisman winner in the second half. Well, early in the fourth quarter, Manziel looked really impressive on one drive and finished it off with a beautiful 21-yard touchdown pass to Shane Wynn.
It always has to be pointed out that it’s just the preseason, but after two weeks you can just see that Manziel looks more comfortable with everything that’s going on around him. He seems like a player that’s ready to step up and be a leader, something this team looked for out of him last season.
If Manziel keeps up this play, then he will give McCown a run for his money.
