Devin Hester is still pretty good in the return game (Video)

Even as his career progresses, Devin Hester still proves to us that he’s one of the best to ever play in the return game
Throughout the history of the NFL, there have been few people that have impressed us more when it comes to returning kicks than Devin Hester. However, maybe, with Hester getting up there in age, you’d think maybe you’d be able to kick the ball to him and be safe.
Well, the New York Jets found out the hard way that this is definitely not the case.
In preseason action on Friday night, the Falcons are on the road taking on the Jets and New York was forced into a punting situation. With this being the case, they kicked the ball right to one Mr. Hester and, well — he almost scorched them for six.
So, what we learned here tonight after almost one quarter of play is that it’s still not totally safe to put the ball into Hester’s hands on special teams. If you choose to go that route then you’re probably going to regret it mightily.
Still one of the best.
