Nick Saban doesn’t want you to know what’s going on at Alabama practices

Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban is really starting to put a hush over what’s going on with his program

If there is one thing that we’ve learned about Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban throughout the years, it’s that he doesn’t really have the best relationship with the media. He’ll do what he has to when it’s required, but he’ll never really go above and beyond to appease them.

But as we enter the 2015 college football season, apparently things are getting a little worse in that relationship. Saban has put restrictions on what the media can and cannot report at practice, but nothing like what we learned of on Friday.

Aaron Suttles of the Tuscaloosa News has informed us all that the school has requested the media not report on anything they see at practice. Yes — anything.

We’ve seen some crazy restrictions put on the media over the years, but never really to this much of an extreme. Nick is really pulling back the reins this time around.

Of course, the first thought that pops into peoples’ minds when they hear about this is the quarterback situation. As we know, Saban really has no idea which direction he’s going for a starter. It could be Jacob Coker. It could be Blake Barnett. It could be David Cornwell. The fact of the matter is that what we’ve heard so far from camp has given us no indication as to what the answer will be.

Apparently, now we’re really not going to have a clue.
