The Miami Hurricanes unveiled custom cleats that they’ll be wearing next month when they take on Nebraska

The Miami Hurricanes are aiming to make their way to the top of the ACC, and the nation, in 2015, and one of the September roadblocks they’ll have in the way is none other than the Nebraska Cornhuskers. This will be a pivotal game for the Hurricanes, especially as they try to prove that they’re making their way back to the top.

Of course, with a game of this magnitude and with their new partnership with Adidas, you had to know that they would make some sort of uniform modification. We don’t know yet if they’ll be wearing some type of special jerseys or helmet, but we know that they’ll be wearing some custom cleats.

On Wednesday it was unveiled that the team will be wearing some custom shoes that were designed by UM alumnus SolesBySir.

Those might seem rather plain to some, but they’re actually pretty fresh looking, if I don’t say so myself. And keep in mind, I am not exactly the biggest Adidas fan in the world, so that actually says something.

Miami will take on Nebraska September 19 at home, and they’ll be looking to avenge a loss they suffered last year at the hands of the Cornhuskers in Lincoln.
