Fantasy football: Top 10 late round WR to target
As the NFL Preseason winds down, we’re in the middle of fantasy football draft season which means it’s time for you to put together a dominant team for your run to glory over the next 16 weeks. While getting the right big name picks early in the draft is vital to success, it also helps to grab great values in the later rounds so that you have the potential for breakout production from as many spots on your roster as possible. To help you find some good candidates for that late-round production, check out my top ten late round WR to target on the following slides.

This post is a follow-up companion post to my list of 8 late round running backs which came out last Saturday. The purpose of this post is to highlight some of the wide receivers who will still be on the board at the end of your draft who have potential to put together a big season. While elite talent at the position is going extremely early in drafts this year, there is a ton of great value going much later in the draft if you decide to wait and draft late round WR instead of using top picks on them.
In this post, my goal is to point out several of the late round WR who have the potential to step up and produce at some point this season. If you have any questions about these picks or any other decisions you are stuck on, I’m available on Twitter @FansidedFantasy. To check out all our preseason coverage visit our fantasy football hub where you can find all our coverage leading up to opening kickoff and throughout the regular season.
If you’ve already had your fantasy football draft, some of these late round WR may be available on your leagues waiver wire, and they would make good waiver wire pickups if your last few rounds yielded you some picks you aren’t thrilled with.
Each of the late round WR listed on the following slides are currently going outside the top 50 wide receivers off the board according to current average draft position (ADP) listed on fantasy pros.com. They are listed in the general order I would take them, but they all represent a certain amount of risk and reward, so it’s best to find one that you believe will pay off and has the potential to explode.
Every year, there are some great late round WR who emerge as top talent. Last year, Odell Beckham Jr., Kelvin Benjamin, Mike Evans, Jordan Matthews, and DeAndre Hopkins could have been had in the last few rounds. Who should you be looking at to make a similar leap this season? Scroll through my top 10 late round WR to find out:
