Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Virginia Tech Hokies
The Ohio State Buckeyes travel to Lane Stadium on Monday night as they kick off their 2015 season and try to repeat as college football’s National Champions. Urban Meyer’s group led by Cardale Jones, J.T. Barrett, Ezekiel Elliot, and Braxton Miller will be up against the Virginia Tech Hokies. Incidentally, it was Hokie quarterback Michael Brewer and a stout VT defense that handed the Buckeyes their lone loss last season en route to college football’s biggest prize.
That also came in OSU’s season opener as the Virginia Tech defense forced Barrett into having what would be his worst game of the season.
With the NFL still yet to kick off, this game will be on in prime time on Monday night and will hold that featured spot on ESPN. Moreover, it’s the only college football game on the docket, giving it a monopoly on the market.
