In a few short hours here, we’re going to get a look at who the Ohio State Buckeyes starting quarterback will be finally

There were a lot of stories that consumed the college football offseason, but without a doubt the one story that stole all of the headlines was who exactly the starting quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes will be. With both J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones vying for the nod, Urban Meyer has been pretty tight-lipped all summer as to who he will actually be going with when the Buckeyes face off against Virginia Tech on this Labor Day Monday night.

However, with game time now just a few hours away, it’s almost time to see who exactly will be under center for the No. 1 team in the country and defending national champions. Even with the game so close, we really don’t have any indication as to who will be taking the snaps.

The only sort of hint that we did get on Monday came from Jones, who posted this to his Instagram account which seems to indicate that both players will be on the field against the Hokies inside Lane Stadium.

All things considered, you really can’t go wrong with either guy. Both have proven themselves to be winning quarterbacks that can lead this team to a title, so you can see where Meyer may have had a tough time figuring this one out.

Again, though, very shortly when the two teams take the field there will be no more dodging the bullet. Someone is going to have to be out there taking the snaps, handing off to Ezekiel Elliott and throwing the passes. Who will it be? When the announcement is made, we will keep you updated with that answer below.
