The Virginia Tech Hokies were able to get some points on the board and they did so in the best way ever to Sam Hodges
For much of the first half that was played between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Virginia Tech Hokies on Monday night, it looked as if Virginia Tech was going to get their doors blown off. Down 14-0 early, they really needed a spark to get them going. More specifically, they needed a touchdown.
Well, they were able to get that touchdown and it was just absolutely glorious.
With the second quarter just getting underway, quarterback Michael Brewer dropped back and he found fullback Sam Rogers, who proceeded to streak his way down the field after a beautiful wheel route play.

This entire sequence here was just amazing. Whenever you can get a full back scoring like this on a wheel route, you know you’re blessed to be watching a football game. Not to mention, look at the moves here by Rogers!
That was that spark this team needed. Now we just have to see what they can do from here.
