ESPN’s traveling roadshow,Ā College GameDay rolled into East Lansing for unquestionably the biggest game of the weekend: Oregon at Michigan State.

Last year, in Eugene, Sparty played the Ducks close for 30 minutes – even leading atĀ the half. However, Oregon kicked it into another gear come the second half, and outscored Michigan State 28-3. This time around, the favored Spartans look to return serve in what could be a precursor to a College Football Playoff matchup later in the season.

Fans were fired up and rowdy as can be down in Sparta. With Public Enemy No. 1, Desmond Howard, on set (and joking about a little pro-Michigan graffiti on State’s campus) Gang Green was frothing at the mouth.

As always, the sign game was strong as can be. Oregon, Michigan, Jim Harbaugh, gone-but-never-forgotten Brady Hoke – Sparty was going for the neck on anyone and everyone in their collective memory. Leonidas would be proud.

Here’s some of the best creativity to come from the best young minds in the country. Enjoy the best signs from College GameDay, Week 2.

Winner winner, chicken dinner.
