Oregon State Beavers vs. Michigan Wolverines
The Oregon State Beavers (1-0) head to Ann Arbor, Mich. this Saturday for a day game against the Michigan Wolverines (0-1) at Michigan Stadium.
Oregon State is coming off a 26-7 victory over the Weber State Wildcats, getting head coach Gary Anderson’s first year with the Beavers started on a positive note. Freshman quarterback Seth Collins led the way, rushing for 152 yards on 17 carries while throwing for two touchdowns and zero interceptions.
A road game at The Big House is much different from hosting an FCS opponent, however, and the hostile environment could be too much for the young signal caller to handle. They will need to find production elsewhere if they are going to find success this Saturday.
The Jim Harbaugh era at Michigan got off to a rocky start last Saturday. The Wolverines struggled to protect the football, falling to the Utah Utes 17-24 on the road. In order for Harbaugh to pick up a win in his home debut, he is going to need to find better play at the quarterback position. Jake Rudock threw for three interceptions in the season opener, finishing the game with a quarterback rating of 32.6.
Michigan will have to get the running game going as well. They compiled just 76 rushing yards last week, averaging 2.6 yards per carry.
The game will be televised on ABC, with kickoff scheduled for 12 p.m. ET. Live streaming will also be available via Watch ESPN.
