The Baltimore Ravens are opening up their 2015 NFL regular season out in Denver against the Broncos, and well, it’s pretty safe to say that the defenses have ruled in this one. Early in the third quarter with the Broncos holding a 9-3 lead, it was the Ravens that returned an interception for a touchdown to get the lead. So, of course, it was only right that the Broncos got the lead back in the same fashion to return the favor.

With time running out in the third quarter, the Ravens were hanging onto a slim 13-9 lead. Joe Flacco was just trying to get his team into the fourth quarter with the lead, but that wasn’t happening.

Before he knew it, the Broncos were up once again following this 51-yard Aqib Talib pick-six.


Yep, this is definitely a game that’s been owned by the defenses. You almost get the feeling that this one might even come down to a safety somehow to seal the win for someone.

Anyway, you can all dust off those Joe Flacco “elite” jokes now.
