Bob Stoops delivered a fantastic post-game speech to his Oklahoma Sooners after their comeback against Tennessee

The Oklahoma Sooners may have had the most impressive win in the second week of college football action, playing against the Tennessee Volunteers. Bob Stoops’ group of young men climbed back from a 17-3 hole that they looked quite unlikely to get out of. Eventually they forced overtime and pulled out the 31-24 victory on the road.

The college football world was left impressed with Stoops and his team after the comeback victory, but no one may have been as impressed and pleased as Stoops himself. In fact, he was so inspired after the win that he addressed his team and delivered an impassioned post-game speak that praised his team for their effort on Saturday night:

After hearing Stoops fire up his team after the game like that, giving everyone the game ball, I’m surprised they weren’t ready to go back onto the field and play another two halves of football.

Stoops’ Sooners proved a great deal to voters and fans alike with their win over the Volunteers. Not only are they clearly talented, but a team that will fight like that no matter the circumstances has to be respected for that quality. Even if no one else does, it’s safe to say their coach indeed respects that.
