With Week 2 of the college football season out of the way now, it’s time to venture off to what should be a very exciting Week 3. On Sunday, the betting odds in Las Vegas were released for the slate that we have coming up this weekend.

Of course, the weekend is highlighted by the huge SEC showdown that pits the Alabama Crimson Tide taking on the Ole Miss Rebels. Both of these teams have started the season at 2-0 and have looked pretty impressive in doing so. At home this year, Alabama will be out for revenge after what happened last season in Oxford when they were knocked off by the Rebels. At the time, it looked like a loss that could knock Alabama out of College Football Playoff contention. That wasn’t the case, but Alabama is still out for blood in this one regardless.

So, what are the odds like heading into this one? Well, despite Ole Miss looking very good in the first two weeks, Alabama comes in as a heavy 8.5-point favorite. Might be surprising to some, but the Tide do have that big win over Wisconsin to start the season, while Ole Miss have smashed some inferior opponents.

Via VegasInsider.com, here’s a look at the rest of the betting odds for Week 3 in the Top 25.
