Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has two big first quarter touchdowns for an early lead over the Texans
Travis Kelce showed a ton of promise last season as the tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs, but many people have come into the 2015 NFL season expecting monstrous things from the big man. It’s still the first quarter of their first game of the season, but Kelce is already making those people look smart and making Houston Texans fans quite angry.
His first trip to the endzone was the first of the first NFL Sunday of the season, as Alex Smith threw one a little high and Kelce went up and came down with it. After making that look easy, he had a nice little celebration to follow as well:
The first TD of #SundayFunday belongs to Travis Kelce and ends with a monster #KelceSpike! #KCvsHOU http://t.co/3mjHBaZxVA

On the very next drive, the Texans must have forgotten who scored on the previous drive and that Kelce is incredibly talented in the open field. Houston left him all alone in the flat and Kelce trotted through nothing but daylight into the endzone for a 42-yard score:
Hey Texans, you might want to cover Travis Kelce https://t.co/j1WUgG5Sos

If this is just a sign of things to come for Kelce this season, Chiefs fans and his fantasy owners alike have to be giddy with excitement about the things to come.
