The tailgate preceding the Arkansas Razorbacks loss was marred by an enormous brawl
The Arkansas Razorbacks did not have a good weekend in the world of college football. After being one of a record 10 teams in the SEC to be ranked in the Associated Press Top 25, the Razorbacks promptly went out and lost to the Toledo Rockets. However, that may not be the worst thing to happen to Razorbacks fans this weekend given video of a brawl from their tailgate that has come to light.
There’s not much introduction needed for this video; it’s simply a ton of Arkansas fans taking part in multiple fights that what seems like the entire population of Arkansas is there to watch and scream about. Here is that video:
I’m not completely up on my luck and juju, but this seems like what the experts call a bad omen. No wonder they couldn’t get past Toledo if this is what was happening even before the game.
This is an all-too-common occurrence at Razorbacks tailgating experiences. They may not all be to the level of a full-blown piece of Super Smash Bros. performance art, but these SEC fans seemingly love to escalate things to a level of violence.
Hopefully everyone walked away from this okay and hopefully the cameraman who stopped to give brief commentary (and comic relief) will be there to offer his live takes on the inevitable Arkansas tailgate brawls in the future.
