Braxton Miller celebrated Carlos Hyde’s big night on Twitter
By Josh Hill
Braxton Miller is trying to help the Ohio State Buckeyes win another National Championship, but he took time to celebrate Carlos Hyde’s big night with the 49ers.
Former Ohio State running back Carlos Hyde had an insane debut as the 49ers featured back. It’s just one game, but it’s looking like Hyde might be a breakout start in the NFL this season and all eyes will be on him next week.
Eyes in Ohio are already on Hyde, especially on the campus back in Columbus. Braxton Miller has his sights set on being a star in the NFL just like Hyde, and he was all in on his former teammate’s debut with the Niners.
Needless to say, Miller was more than pleased to see his former Ohio State teammate do so well in his first game carrying the load for the 49ers.
Miller has done really well in his transition from the Buckeyes stating quarterback to a potential star receiver. He’ll spend this season trying to boost hisNFL Draft stock as a skill position player, and Hyde’s success is no doubt going to be motivation.
It’s also just cool to see that Miller and Hyde are still close enough for them to support one another. We might see more of this in college football, but mostly everyone is banned from tweeting, so this is a rare occasion we needn’t take for granted.
