The Miami Dolphins made a large commitment to defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh in free agency this offseason. In fact, the Dolphins gave Suh the largest contract in the history of the National Football League for a defensive player, signing him to a six-year, $114 million contract.

Suh has decided to reinvest some of that money into the team, buying recliners for each of the Miami defensive lineman, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. Suh will likely be getting plenty of brownie points from his new teammates with a gesture like this. Per Bleacher Report:
"“That’s very big of him; we’re here more than we’re home,” Cameron Wake said, per Jackson."
The Dolphins are a team expected to make a move toward the playoffs this season. In the first two years under head coach Joe Philbin, Miami has twice been in the hunt come December only to fade down the stretch and finish 8-8 both times. The Dolphins upgraded the roster this offseason not only with Suh, but also the signing of veteran wide receiver Greg Jennings, along with the trade for receiver Kenny Stills.
Ultimately, Suh is the biggest reason the Dolphins look more formidable. With him in the middle and Cameron Wake and Olivier Vernon on the outside, Miami has one of the best defensive fronts in the league. Now, they will be even more relaxed and taken care of during the week thanks to Suh’s generosity.
Miami is in a tough division with the AFC East loaded up with contenders. All four teams won in Week 1 and look to be playoff-types, although the New York Jets might struggle to keep pace. It should be a very interesting season down on South Beach.
